Withdrawal from the College

Students who elect to withdraw from the College are required to complete a College Withdrawal Form available in the One Stop area. Official withdraw status is dependent upon completion of this form by the final date of withdrawal according to the published deadline. Failure to follow this procedure will result in the grade of “F” or “FN” for each course being entered on the student’s transcript and forfeiture of any tuition refund.

Dropping courses after receiving financial aid may result in repayment of aid funds to the College by the student.

Please refer to the Tuition Adjustment (Refund) Percentages chart on the finances page to determine if making changes to your schedule will result in owing tuition.

Dropping Courses

During the first three weeks of a semester, or the first week of a term, classes may be dropped by properly completing the Class Drop/Add Authorization Form in the One Stop for Student Services, and no entry will be made on a student’s transcript.

From the fourth week of classes through the tenth week of classes, a “W” (withdrawn) will be shown on the student’s transcript for each course properly dropped.

If a student ceases to attend a course or courses without completing the Class Drop/Add Authorization Form, the grade of “FN” is recorded for each of these courses. Students who have already earned a grade for a course are ineligible to withdraw from that course.
