Students on academic probation may carry a maximum load of 16 course credits during their next semester. If the student remains on probation for a second consecutive semester, he/she may take a maximum of 12 course credits of work.

Academic Dismissal
Students dismissed for lack of academic achievement may not enroll for a minimum of one academic semester before consideration will be given for a readmission review.

Prior Learning Assessment

Students may apply for Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) credit as substitution for academic course requirements.

If students are uncertain about how past experience may relate to their course of study, an appointment with a program advisor is recommended.

Students will be assessed a minimum fee for evaluation of a portfolio or certification/credential. This fee is charged regardless of credit status after evaluation. Additional cost will be incurred when evaluating a portfolio for more than one course. Please refer to the on-line published fee schedule.
