What is the Emergency Grant Program?

This program gives grants (money that does NOT have to be paid back) to students who face unexpected financial hardships that may prevent them from finishing their education. It is sponsored by the United Way and Zane State College Foundation.

How Does it Work?

If you are facing an unexpected financial hardship, you can receive up to $500 to cover costs. Examples of financial need could include:

  • Car troubles
  • Medical bill
  • Unexpected need for childcare
  • Eviction Many other financial emergencies will be accepted, too.
