To graduate, you must complete the online Petition for Graduation on My ZSC. Graduation is not automatic; if you are finishing a degree, one-year certificate, or short-term certificate, it is essential to submit your petition by MARCH 6, 2025 for Spring and MARCH 20, 2025 for Summer.  

Please review the instructions for the online petition. After submission, you will receive a confirmation email—make sure to keep this for your records. Steps to Petition for Graduation:Schedule an appointment with your program advisor to discuss degree requirements.

All graduation candidates must fulfill the degree and program requirements specified in the academic catalog for their catalog year.
Complete the online Petition for Graduation for each degree, one-year certificate, and/or short-term certificate.

Petitions submitted after the deadline may delay the processing of your diploma and transcripts, and could affect your eligibility to participate in the commencement ceremony.

The commencement ceremony takes place annually in May for Fall, Spring, and Summer graduates. Further details will be available at www.zanestate.edu/grad by April. Graduation practice is scheduled for Wednesday, May 7, with additional information to be posted on the grad page by April.
