NC SARA Participating School

Zane State College offers courses, associate degree and certificate programs that may lead to professional licensure and/or certification. Successful completion of the programs listed below may potentially lead to professional licensure, registration or certification. Licensure, registration or certification may be global, national, or state-specific. The following programs meet requirements for the State of Ohio. Requirements for other states may vary. If you currently live in a state other than Ohio or intend to move to a state other than Ohio and use the education completed at Zane State College to sit for such an exam, be aware there may be additional requirements. Please contact the appropriate administering body and/or the college contact for the program to discuss your intentions.

As a part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring high-quality education and compliance with state and federal regulations, we are pleased to inform you that Zane State College is a participating member of the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA).

What is NC-SARA?

NC-SARA is a national initiative designed to make it easier for students to take online courses offered by postsecondary institutions across state lines. As an NC-SARA member, Zane State College meets a set of rigorous standards designed to ensure a quality educational experience for students, no matter where they are located.

How Does This Benefit You?

Access to Quality Education: Our participation ensures that the courses and programs offered online meet established quality standards.
Consumer Protection: NC-SARA membership provides additional protections to you as a student, including access to a clear and streamlined complaint resolution process for addressing concerns related to online education.
Increased Educational Opportunities: You have the freedom to enroll in online courses and programs across member states without the complications of varying state regulations.
